Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a technique that you use to move blocked energy in your body by self-tapping on acupressure points. It was developed by Gary Craig, a minister and personal trainer. EFT is based on the ancient Chinese art of acupuncture which affects the energy meridians in order to balance the body’s energy system. With EFT you can eliminate emotional blocks that keep you from healing or experiencing happiness. EFT has been my self treatment method of choice for many years now. I travel alot and so when I am away it is vital for me that I have a tool that I can use on myself when I need to clear out stuck emotions, patterns or beliefs. I often use it to calm my body and energy system before sitting for meditation. I now combine it into my healing sessions if I feel the person is quite entangled into a pattern or emotion. So as I balance and harmonise their energy they can balance and harmonise their physical body with EFT.
An EFT treatment involves the use of fingertips rather than needles to tap on the end points of energy meridians that are situated just beneath the surface of the skin. The treatment is non-invasive and works on the ethos of making change as simple and as pain free as possible. EFT is beneficial whether you are dealing with fears such as flying, driving, dogs, etc to overcoming stress and nervous energy. Food cravings and other resistant habits are diminished and very often eliminated with EFT.s.
